11% of Shopping now being grown!

A Short review of supermarket shopping in December 2021 to now. Looking at what we are growing and how much of a weekly shopping list is being cut back.

Sea salt – can we use samphire? Anyone tried to grow this?

A lot of bread is still being bought, considering a sour dough recipe – Will ask one of our writers.

If we found someone with chickens and having surplus eggs, we could barter or trade these vegetables for eggs!

Looks like you’ve nailed the art of permaculture. Self sufficiency is an awesome ambition especially in light of soil depletion, chemicals and cost of living. Can’t beat the taste of home grown.
